It’s all about the driver

Your expectation: Safe and efficient operation and handling

UniCarriers health and safety solutions guarantee maximum safety in your facility. Highly trained staff are not only a legal requirement – they are vital to the effective and efficient operation of your business. By inspecting and analysing risks and weak points in your processes, you can take a giant step towards a safe workplace. The information collected in a health and safety analysis is the basis for changes that can minimise employee sick leave, damage to goods and equipment and excessive use of spare parts.

Ergonomics and safety

UniCarriers basic principle in truck ergonomic design: to allow the operator to remain in a natural position during the entire working day. This principle is our basis when we design the tiller arm, floating armrests, mini-wheels, grab for entering trucks, tilting seats, overhead guards and joysticks. And many more design solutions to keep your drivers safe.

UniCarriers Ergonomics

UniCarriers prioritise technology that reduces the impact of extended driving on the driver’s body and improves safety while maintaining optimum efficiency.

And remember to take care of your most important asset: the drivers

Exercises and tips for healthy drivers. What do operators of different types of trucks need to keep in mind during their daily work? What are the most common injuries or conditions and how can they be avoided? We offer a full package of practical exercises, designed by a physiotherapist, to help truck operators counter the harmful asymmetrical strains that can arise as a result of their day-to-day working activities.

"Neutral posture"

“Neutral posture”. The seated position which allows least tension or pressure on nerves, tendons, muscles and bones. This ergonomic posture prevents the muscles from being overly contracted or stretched. This stops the operator from getting tired and ensures optimum performance throughout the whole working day.
